The Verbal Test will require you to:
-analyze and evaluate written material and synthesize information obtained from it
-analyze relationships among component parts of sentences
-recognize relationships between words and concepts
The reading comprehension section of the GAT Verbal test measures a test taker’s ability to understand, analyze and evaluate written passages. The passages will contain material that will be from a variety of sources and on a number of different topics.
Each of the passages in the section will be followed by a series of questions covering the content of the passage or statement, in which you will have to answer questions, which will demonstrate how well you understand the passages and are able to draw conclusions about the material
