Right now, China is finding itself in a tough spot. Energy demand is shooting through the roof. But at the same time, pollution is becoming a national catastrophe.
According to The New York Times, Beijing's smog levels are "off the charts." One Economist reporter called the situation an "airpocalypse."
But here's something really interesting that you may not have heard about…
To combat this problem, China has announced plans to invest heavily in a new type of power plant – one capable of generating 639,000 times more energy than oil, while creating 99% less waste than coal.
More importantly…
The fuel to run these new plants will require a virtually unknown commodity. And the only global miner that could possibly manufacture this resource in mass quantities just happens to be based in the United States.
Of course, China isn't happy about this. But as you'll see in this presentation, they really have no choice.
You can get the full story here.
Good investing,
